Internet Privacy Practices

Privaris, Inc. (or “Privaris”) welcomes you to the web site, and its associated pages (collectively, “Site”). Privaris is a technology company focusing on biometric authentication. This policy is a description of Privaris’ internet privacy practices that apply to all who browse or view the Site. We are committed to a safe and secure online environment for internet visitors, under the terms described herein. Thus, the purpose of this web site privacy policy is to inform you: (1) what types of information we may gather about you when you visit this Site; (2) how we may use that information; (3) under what circumstances we may disclose this information to others; and (4) the choices you have regarding our use of your personal information.

What types of information may Privaris collect about me?
Privaris may collect non-identifying information, such as the date and time of your visit, your originating domain name, your browser type, and the pages you hit or browse on our Site.

Privaris may collect identifying information for a person or business, if that information is provided voluntarily by you in a form, email, etc. We may ask you to provide such information for specific transactions or to provide marketing information about Privaris’ services and products. For example, when you inquire about a product, we may ask for contact information such as your name, address, e-mail, and company. You may always choose not to provide this identifying or business information by foregoing the submission and transaction.

From time to time, we may also ask you voluntarily to provide information about your preferences and interests so that we may tailor the online experience of the Site. You may always choose not to provide answers regarding your preferences and interests.

How does Privaris use my information?
Our primary goal in collecting personally identifying information is to provide you with a service, product, or information about services and products (e.g., such as announcements of product updates). Second, we may collect non-identifying information about internet traffic on our Site in order to better manage our Site resources and to manage the materials on the Site.

Do other companies or people have access to personally identifiable information I provide to Privaris?
When you choose to provide information to Privaris, please keep in mind that you are providing it to Privaris, its affiliates, subsidiaries, divisions, and distributors. Privaris may share your voluntarily provided identifiable and non-identifying information with these related parties.

In addition, when you visit a Privaris Site you may be asked to provide voluntarily personally identifying information in the course of a requested transaction, as described above. We may use identifying information and share it with unrelated third parties when it is reasonably necessary to fulfill a request by you for a service, product, or piece of information. Otherwise, our policy is to avoid sharing such personally identifiable information to others without prior notice to you.

Notwithstanding anything to the contrary, Privaris may disclose personally identifying information or other nonpublic personal information to protect against criminal activity, to comply with authorized civil, criminal, or regulatory investigations, or to the extent permitted or required under state or federal law.
Advertisements, Links, and Third Party Sites.

The owners of unrelated web sites, such as online retailers, advertisers, unrelated sites that we may link to, or web sites that link to the Privaris Site may collect personal information directly from you.

The information policies and practices of these unrelated parties are not covered by this privacy policy. We do not control the privacy policies of third parties, advertisers, sponsors of other sites, or businesses to which we may provide hyperlinks or access. Please review their privacy policies and practices. Privaris is not responsible or liable for their independent policies and practices, and it is your responsibility to review them and decide if you are satisfied with their protections. Privaris users should also be aware that, when you voluntarily disclose personal information in emails, chat areas, or bulletin boards, that information may be collected by others and can result in unsolicited messages from others.

Data Security.
Privaris takes commercially reasonable procedures to protect the information it collects online. However, as effective as these measures are, no security system is impenetrable. Privaris does not guarantee the security of its information databases, nor does it guarantee that the information you choose to supply will not be intercepted while you transmit it from your computer, over the internet, and to the Privaris systems.

What information do web servers automatically collect?
Web servers hosting the Privaris Site automatically collect certain non-personally identifying information, such as the date, time, which pages each user visits, and the address or domain name of the users’ internet service provider, etc. This information is used for various administrative purposes, including internal web site review, the tailoring of information to categories of visitors, analysis of web site resources, and web site traffic audits.

What are cookies and does Privaris use them?
Privaris does not currently use cookies on the Site. A cookie is a web browser feature that can be used to tell when your computer has contacted a web site, or to track your visit. For example, cookies may be used to ensure that you do not see the same advertisement too many times in a single session, or to ensure that you do not have to reenter a login name or password during a visit.

What is Privaris’ policy regarding information from minors?
This Site is not intended for minors. Privaris does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 18 years of age. If you are a minor, you are not authorized to use this Site or to provide information to Privaris.

How will Privaris update this Privacy Policy?
Technology on the internet is developing at a rapid pace, and we need to maintain our flexibility in the online arena. If we need to change our policy in the future, we will post these changes at this Site within a reasonable time of the change going into effect. You should routinely monitor this Privacy Policy for periodic changes.

This notice updates and replaces any previous notices from Privaris about the privacy, security, and protection of information provided to this Site. You may have other privacy protections under applicable state law. We may amend this privacy notice at any time. If required by applicable law, then we will inform you of those changes.
