Senior Embedded Software Engineer

Candidates must have 8-10 years of direct development experience in the design, development, test, and documentation of embedded firmware. Experience in the full life cycle development of real-time systems in a microprocessor based engineering environment with C or C++ on RTOS platforms is a must. A strong understanding of how requirements, design and test process impact quality is crucial to this position. Exposure to biometric systems, smart card architectures, Bluetooth and similar wireless technologies, cryptographic algorithms and protocols, and the industry standards pertaining to their use in government and commercial applications is desired. Experience with Java, .NET, Visual C++, and MFC can be useful.

Senior Hardware Engineer

Candidates must have 8-10 years of practical, hands-on electronic design experience in digital, analog, mixed signal, and RF. Specific experience or exposure to RFID or fingerprint biometric sensor technology is a plus. Ideal candidates must be familiar with all aspects of hardware design including circuit design, design for manufacturability, design for standards compliance, component selection, design verification including simulation and prototype construction, documentation and post design support. Requires familiarity with lab equipment, schematic capture, board layout and test software (Protel, OrCAD and LabVIEW preferred).

Applications/Systems Engineer

Design and develop applications supporting personal, wireless, biometrically-enabled security devices. Candidates must have in-depth knowledge of Windows security architecture and associated communication protocols, experience interacting with, augmenting, or replacing components of that architecture, developing device drivers under the Windows Driver Model and standard network programming methodologies. This position requires working with customers to ascertain application requirements, document architecture and development decisions, plan implementations, and implement and release products based on aggressive schedules. A minimum of 5 years of Windows development experience using Win32 API/SDK and MFC frameworks, Component Object Model (COM), both client and server development, Win32 security architecture (Gina, LSA, CryptoAPI, SCard, Kerberos, etc.), and Network/Socket experience through standard WININET or WINSOCK. Familiarity with smart card communication protocols and applications, cryptography, and Bluetooth is highly desired.

Software Test Engineer

Design, development, document, implement, and execute test specifications and processes for newly developed software and for regression testing of existing software and/or embedded firmware products. Activities will support R&D and production efforts with ancillary tools to aid in the development of a quality product and facilitate meeting tight deadlines and milestones in a small team based environment. Preferred candidates will have 4-8 years experience in a C++ development capacity for Linux and Windows environments.

Customer Service Representative

Provide telephone support for the Privaris family of biometric security products. Experience in providing technology based troubleshooting and hardware/software upgrade instructions are mandatory. Must have strong interpersonal skills and be fluent in a Microsoft Windows environment. The ideal candidate will be functioning as a CSR today in a high technology hardware and software product environment. Shift work may be necessary.
